Infusion Pumps and Supplies

Infusion pumps are medical devices used to deliver fluids and medications at a controlled rate. The pharmacists at InfuCare will work with other healthcare professionals to determine the proper infusion device based on each patients specific needs.

Anti-Infective

Depending on your needs, InfuCare provides antibiotic, antiviral, and antifungal medications to treat a wide variety of minor to severe infections. Such treatment is designed to eradicate patients' infections and prevent complications.

Parenteral Nutrition

Parenteral nutrition is indicated when a patient is suffering from gastrointestinal dysfunction and is unable to absorb nutrients properly. Parenteral nutrition allows a patient to receive their daily caloric requirements through intravenous formulae.

Immunotherapy (IVIG)

Immunotherapy helps patients with weakened immune systems or other health issues avoid infections. This therapy is often used in place of daily drugs like immunosuppressants, corticosteroids, and other medications.

Parenteral Pain Management

Depending on your needs, InfuCare provides opioid pain management administered subcutaneously or intravenously. This therapy is often indicated for hospice patients or patients suffering from cancer related pain.

Central Venous Catheter Care

Central venous catheters are soft hollow tubes placed into large veins leading into the heart. They are typically used to deliver medications for various illnesses. InfuCare understands the specific needs for patients requiring central venous catheter care. We provide the necessary supplies required to keep the catheter potent and functional.

Hydration/Anti-emetics

Anti-emetics are commonly prescribed by physicians as an adjunct to oral rehydration therapies. They are used to combat nausea and vomiting, particularly in chemotherapy and hyperemesis associated with pregnancy. Chronic vomiting can result in severe dehydration, so InfuCare provides intravenous fluids in the home setting when indicated.

Cardiac Inotropes

Intravenous inotropic medications are sometimes prescribed for patients with heart failure. These drugs can be administered safely in the home setting to patients that the physician deems a candidate for this type of therapy.
